Compliance is more than a checklist. True compliance requires a broad understanding of the rules, regulations and laws that regulate how a specific industry operates. TitleTeam has developed and implemented it’s own internal Best Practices initiatives taking into consideration measures suggested by the American Land Title Association (ALTA) and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). TitleTeam, accompanied by an objective third party technology firm and third party accounting firm, performed the assessment procedures outlined in the ALTA Best Practices Framework: Assessment Procedures, and as of May 1, 2015, TitleTeam complies with the assessment in all material aspects.
We represent that our Best Practices initiatives will remain in material compliance in perpetuity and as part of that commitment we will provide to any Bank, Mortgage Company or Mortgage Servicer copies of our policies, procedures, insurances or assessments upon written request.
